Pocono Workshop
Our 2nd annual Pocono Workshop November 21-22 was a huge success! Capital District Scottish Games
Ulster Scottish competed at the Capital District games in Schenectady, NY September 5.  The band placed 2nd. The following soloists earned placings:
Derek Cooper – 1st place Pro Snare MSR & H/J
Jensen McConnell – 1st place Amateur Tenor
Brendan O’Reilly – 4th place Gr3 Snare

Jersey Shore Celtic Festival
Ulster Scottish competed at the Jersey Shore Celtic Festival in Toms River July 11. The Grade 3 placed 2nd with a 1st in drumming, and the grade 4 placed 6th with a 3rd in drumming! The following soloists also earned prizes:
Sarah Jane Kennedy: 2nd Gr4Sr 2/4 March, 4th Piobaireachd
Jensen McConnell: 1st Amateur Tenor MSR with AGL
Niamh McConnell: 1st Gr 5 Chanter, 2nd Novice Tenor
Rory McConnell: 4th Gr4Jr 2/4 March, 4th Piobaireachd
Sophie McConnell: 1st Gr2 Snare MSR, 1st Hornpipe/Jig
