Pocono Piping & Drumming Workshop November 22-23
Ulster Scottish will be holding a piping and drumming workshop at The Inn at Pocono Manor November 22-23, 2014. Enjoy luxurious resort accommodations which include a full hot breakfast during a weekend of valuable instruction. Piping students will receive a schedule of topics and will be free to attend the classes of their choice.  Saturday evening’s ceilidh will feature DJ dancing and performances by Ulster members.  Don’t miss this fun weekend of learning so close to home!  Click here for information and the registration form. Capital District Scottish Games
The bands enjoyed a successful weekend in Schenectady, NY August 30 & 31. The Grade 3 placed 1st in Saturday’s MSR contest and 2nd in Sunday’s medley contest to win the overall two-day Noreaster Cup. The Grade 5 placed 1st both days and was also awarded the Noreaster Cup. The Grade 3 will finish the season in Bethlehem September 28.  This was the Grade 5′s final contest in an undefeated season!

Glengarry Highland Games
The Grade 3 band traveled to Ontario to compete in the North American Championships August 2.  The band earned fourth place out of twelve bands, with a first place from the drumming judge!
